Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Rolligan does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information. We do not use analytics software development kits, and nothing you do in the game is stored on our servers.

Ad attribution (TikTok)

Rolligan includes TikTok’s install-attribution software development kit so we can measure which TikTok ads bring in new players. On first launch, Rolligan asks permission with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt:

• If you allow tracking, your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) and basic install and app-event data (for example, that the app was opened) are shared with TikTok to attribute the install to an ad.
• If you decline, no advertising identifier is shared. Apple’s privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork may send TikTok a coarse, anonymous install signal that cannot identify you.

The game plays exactly the same either way. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. TikTok’s handling of this data is governed by TikTok’s Privacy Policy. We only see aggregated, anonymized ad reports, and we never sell your data.

Multiplayer games

When you host or join a multiplayer game, the display name you type and the live game state (scores, the current pot, whose turn it is) are sent in real time to the other players in your game through a temporary connection identified by your room code. This information is broadcast only for the duration of the game and is not written to any database, retained, or used for any other purpose. When the game ends, it is gone.

Player photos (optional)

You can add a photo so it shows in your player circle instead of your initial. You can take one with the camera or pick one from your photos; you never have to. The photo is saved only on your device (or, on the web join page, in your browser). When you play in an online room, a small copy is sent live to the other players in that room through the same real-time relay as the game itself, so it can appear on their screens during the game. We don't store it on our servers or use it for anything else. Anyone in a game can hide a photo on their own screen, and the host can hide a photo for the whole room. To remove your photo, choose "Use initials instead" (app) or "Use my initial" (web).

Purchases

Rolligan Pro, an optional one-time in-app purchase, is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment; Rolligan never sees or stores your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Rolligan is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the ad-attribution data described above is only shared if tracking is allowed on the device.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices ever change, we will update this page and revise the date above.
